Levi has been wanting to go to Build a Bear Workshop for a long time. He has been saving up his money so that he could go, so when he got a gift certificate to go there from Nana and Papa for his birthday, he was beyond thrilled! Brandon has never been and was curious as to how it worked, so we took advantage of his day off to head over there. Levi has accompanied his sisters several times when they have gone there, so he already had a few things picked out that he knew he wanted. The first being the camo bear, and the second, a leather jacket for it to wear. The first stop after picking out your bear is the fluffing machine. Here is Levi stepping on the lever that makes all the fluff come out and fill up his bear. Before you sew the bear up they have you put a little heart in it. They had him rub it together in his hands, turn around in circles, make a wish and give it a kiss before putting it inside the bear. Here he is rubbing the heart on his legs so his bear can run fast like him =)
The next stop is the bath area where they give their bear an air bath to get off any excess fluff.
I think Brandon had as much fun as Levi picking out things for the bear to wear. He spotted a skeleton beanie right away, and they both got a kick out of the joe boxers! lol
Next it was time to dress him up! They have little dressing rooms where you can try outfits on your bear to see what you like. I remember when I took Alexis here to spend a gift certificate once, she had to have tried every outfit in that store on hers before she could decide! Luckily it only took Levi a few tries. Here he is with the finished product, leather jacket and all =)

I have never done that before, but it looks like fun, I can't wait to take Lyla someday. That is so cute that Brandon went with him :)
